SUMMARY:-
In Josee Paquet's article, published at www.auto123.com on Thursday, July 3rd 2014, he gives us insight on Audi's new technological features regarding their new autoline.
Audi is to follow Volvo's lead in offering both android-auto and Apple car-play in its new line of vehicles.
They are going to start producing vehicles in Europe next year but for North Americans, this new technology will be implemented in the year 2016.
Apple Car-play will be integrated into Audi's built-in control system known as MMI.This control system will have dial controls as well as voice controls provided by SIRI from Apple.
Newly equipped models will simply connect their phones and will begin using apps through the car's control system.
Although Audi has not announced which models it is to put this new control system but its pretty clear that all the new generation Audis are going to carry this legacy unto further generations to come.
This technology introduced by Audi will support the recently introduced handsfree technology and provide the ultimate driving experience.
OPINION :- In our opinion, this technology shows us the glimpses from future cars. This system will help people communicate with each other face to face while driving on long trips. Even waiting time will be fun with that system when you have a lot to explore and use. Also these new features can pose as a threat to drivers everywhere. The reason being is that individuals on the road could be easily distracted by the system. Overall Audis have became much more advanced and stylish, we can not deny the fact that this is just a begining. We look forward to see what new gadgets this german corporation has to offer.
QUESTIONS :- 1. Will Audi be able to match against its rivals like Mercedes benz, Volvo etc. ?
2. Do you think with introduction to this technology, there will be rise in road accidents due to diversion of mind ?
3. Do you think that this technology is the begining of evvolution of cars ?

ReplyDeleteIf apple were to contribute their product into the car it would prevent accidents from happening due to not having to pick up your phone and just telling SIRI to call someone for you.
3. Do you think that this technology is the beginning of evolution of cars ?
Yes it would be the beginning of the car evolutions because we never had this type of technology back then but as years go on people had developed new technology that will be more convenient for us.
This is a very interesting feature that will be added to Audi automobiles. It will certainly be something unique and popular among everyone. Although, Audi has been one of the top of line automobiles, it will definitely match against its rivals Mercedez-Benz, Volvo, and others. In fact, if these other companies don't come up with anything to implement a change in their vehicles, Audi will look better. The installation of this feature will also rise sales rates, since the vehicle will look tempting to buy. I think that with the introduction of this feature there will be fewer car-collisions. The reason being is people will not have a phone in their hand, and will not be looking at it each time they receive a notification.
ReplyDeleteHaving a feature where you can control your phone through your car will be one of the best things that's ever happened. It can avoid a lot of potential accidents because you aren't too busy looking for your phone or looking down to use your phone. Everything is now going to be set through SIRI and you just have to give your command. This new feature will put Audi in front of a lot of cars like the benz and volvo because not only is it a german built vehicle, but it is also going to have a feature that a lot of cars will not. It's definitely the beginning of evolution for cars; everything will be easier.
